"TOURIST DAY" Slidin Thru HQ

Everyday after I take the kids to school, I usually try and come home and SLEEP in peace and quiet!! Today I had to come home and get ready to run errands! TAX SEASON! I had to run to work, grab some papers and file.

OF COURSE, all I want to do is eat. Where do I go for breakfast!? NORDSTROM CAFE. Located at Nordstroms, top floor, Fashion Show Mall. It's one of the more local type malls even thou it's on the strip. Since I was on the strip, this was the best bet. My favorite thing about this cafe is that it has ORGANIC TEA! Even better is the freshly squeezed lemonade paired with it! When you order, you go along a buffet style counter. Order everything and then sit down to wait for you food in the dining room! YELP IT. You'll find more "must haves" from other locals. The breakfast sandwich was quite delish!

After breakfast, we headed down to file my taxes. Did that, then headed over to my favorite place. LUCKY TROPICAL FISH. I could spend all day in that place. I really needed to replace the bulb for my saltwater tank. My fishys were getting cold with no heat lamp! I love going there because they always have a great selection and they always help me out!! I've learned so much about what I already love! PS, they have 2 porcupine puffers right now and I'm SO TEMPTED to buy one!! They are too cute!

SLIDER TRUCK HQ

In Vegas we have had a FOOD TRUCK movement. I'm sure you see me all about Fukuburger. Fukuburger till I die mutha fuggah!! But truth is, there's at least 6 other trucks roaming around this desert. I tried Sloppi Joes (BOMBDIGGITY) SliderTruck and the SnowCone Truck. Well Slider Truck has now become HQ. Meaning they have found a place to be a restaurant! Las Vegas Weekly just did a spread on them, so the wonderful nosy local I am, I checked it out. Good thing is, they are open 24/7. It's location is kind of out of the way.

How dope is the "W"!? I was so shocked at all the Hip Hop crap they had up! But what I couldn't help to stare at was the grade they got on their Health Inspection. "B" I don't know about you guys, but that grosses me out. Supposedly they received the "B" because they wouldn't pull up their pants, but still. Have some respect for health code. Also, they had samples up for grabs with no type of utensils to grab them from the plate.. Do you know how much fecal matter could brought to that dish while people are grabbing for it!?

If I hadn't seen the grade and the poop fest for samples, I would've enjoyed my sliders. They are pretty good to be honest. I was really happy with the bottled Coke! I knew that was going to be great! LOL This was us waiting for what seemed like and hour for our first time "in-house" sliders.

"TOURIST DAY" Miracle Mile @ Planet Hollywood

Do you guys know how many questions I get about "WHERE TO GO IN VEGAS?" So I thought to myself, "I should start doing more blog posts on it!" And here we go... I headed to the strip. Something a local doesn't really do, but I love you all so I went with it. LOL All the pictures are from the mall at PLANET HOLLYWOOD. aka MIRACLE MILE. Some stores include: H&M, Victoria's Secret, Urban Outfitters, Bebe, Bettie Page, Betsy Johnson, Foot Locker, Lucky Brand Jeans, Fossil, Ben Sherman, Metropark, True Religion and American Apparel.

Miracle Mile also has EARL OF SANDWICH! My favorite is the Meatball sub with extra cheese. OMG.. It's toasted to perfection and just melts in your mouth. It's the only location in Vegas. The pictures below are taken at LA SALSA CANTINA where you can be marked as a tourist and carry around a YARD CUP! LOL Have fun!

Ordered some chips and salsa to go with our Top Shelf Margarita. PS, make sure you get a better tequila than "well". Cheap tequila will give you a huge headache. I know some us think we can come to Vegas and drink themselves STUPID. If you are going to do that, don't drink CHEAP STUFF!! (and drink H2O)

i have pretty much nc25/nc30 color skin with a lot of redness around my nostrils a little on the cheeks...would a c3/c4 help out with that more or what do u think to bring more of a golden glow vs. a pale matte face...im using hyperreal-nc20/studiofixnc25

hmm try the color corrector in the green. it takes out the red!!

oh yes Id love too but I dont have time to have such tough skin.. people dont realize that making videos is fun but you have to deal with so much crap. You put yourself out there and it gets turned around.. under a microscope. Its all good... The public just cant handle a lot. Always first to point a finger and shake their heads.. when in fact they not saints themselves..

I'm really intrested in knowing what your diet is like? do you eat several times a day or more like breakfast, lunch, dinner, and are there certin foods you eat all the time?

HI!! Well in the morning I have my coffee!! I go to sleep around 4 which is after work and have to be up by 8 to get the kids ready for school! I wont drink coffee till after they have gone to school and I come back and usually go BACK TO SLEEP! When I wake up, depending on what I scheduled, I have my coffee. i also drink a DAN ACTIVE one a day drink thing.. In vanilla ;P I snack a lot and also try to stay away from soda.. I drink diet or gingerale. Also Wheat bread, I love my carbs!! but I will try and sub as much as I can! Any more specific questions? or did I answer it?

Since it's been so windy and crappy outside, I have been wearing my glasses. Well, that's not fully the reason... I ran out of contacts and have been to lazy to get some more.. Its just too cold outside to even move! I really DISLIKE IT! BRRRRRR! Wearing my glasses give my eyes a chance to breathe! I wear contacts all the time and my eyes get so dried out! When allergy season comes, FORGET IT! Contacts just jack my eyes up and it's hard for me to wear make up. A girl has to wear make up! Well at least some....

It's about 11:30pm here in Vegas and I need some shut eye. This girl needs sleep when she can get it! I could sleep 12 hours if I could.. PS.. I have been leaking some of my formspring questions onto my blog.. I thought that they were pretty good questions to answer.. I get a lot of repeat questions.. Tell me what you think..

i try not to wash it everyday! I also like to let it air dry as much as I can.. Also, I dont really use an iron on it that much! Hot rollers are so much better!
